As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with West Bloomfield Health and Rehabilitation Center you will assist the Physical Therapists in providing care to help patients to regain functional independence. Responsibilities

• Performs treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist, and document treatments in the medical record.
• Supervise the direct patient care activities of the Rehab Aids
• Coordinate patient care with members of other departments and staff within the Rehab Services Department.
• Participates in resident care conferences, Restorative Team meetings, and Interdisciplinary Team meetings as appropriate.
• Participates in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility.

Qualifcations

• Graduate of an approved PTA program
• Current PTA license
• Long term care experience preferred
