We are looking for experienced operators to safely and efficiently move materials within our distribution center. This role is pivotal to our logistics operations, ensuring timely movement of goods to support order fulfillment and inventory management. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, as well as maintaining a safe and organized work environment. A strong understanding of forklift operation, safety procedures, and warehouse practices is essential. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation. We emphasize a culture of safety and provide all necessary training and PPE to ensure a secure workplace. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle tasks with precision and care. Your role will directly impact the efficiency of our supply chain. Responsibilities include pre-operation equipment checks, moving pallets of goods, stacking and unstacking inventory, and assisting with inventory counts. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members are also important. - Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from racking systems.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other warehouse associates to ensure smooth operations.
