We are looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our state-of-the-art facility in Chicago, Illinois. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of our logistics operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately using RF scanners and order forms.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to company standards.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
- Ability for Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and logistics operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
