Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products according to order specifications using scanning devices.
- Inspect items for defects or damages before packing.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for various shipping methods.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Meet or exceed daily performance metrics for picking and packing.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity for efficient packing.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety gloves and vests.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety in a logistics context.
- Strong attention to detail for accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
