We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our busy distribution center in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a vital part in our logistics network, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked and efficiently packed for dispatch. This is a hands-on position that requires speed, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail. You will be working with a variety of products, utilizing our advanced warehouse management system to fulfill orders. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items safely and securely into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate hand-held scanners to track inventory and order status.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and protocols.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing performance goals.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Comfortable with manual dexterity and fine motor skills for packing.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 40 pounds frequently.
- Familiarity with general warehouse safety procedures in a logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
