We are hiring a Material Handler for our Los Angeles, California facility! This role is crucial to our daily logistics operations, ensuring that materials are moved efficiently and safely from receipt to dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Transport materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
- Fulfill orders by picking and preparing items for shipment.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and use of appropriate PPE.
- Operate loading and unloading equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent hazards.
- Support team members in various warehouse tasks.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting of products throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Must possess the physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy objects regularly.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Adherence to all safety procedures and requirements is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED required.
