Our Distribution Center in Madison, Wisconsin, is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to contribute to our efficient logistics operations. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of goods, from receiving and stocking to order picking, packing, and shipping. You will play a critical part in our supply chain, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment of customer orders. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, with comprehensive training on all operational procedures and safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments and materials.
- Stock inventory accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick orders according to specifications using scanning equipment or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, including accurate labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, emphasizing the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts and stock checks.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety standards.
- Dedication to safety practices and willingness to use required PPE.
