Our large Distribution Center in Phoenix, Arizona, is looking for motivated Distribution Center Associates to join our team. This role is fundamental to our operations, involving the efficient handling of goods from receiving to shipping. Key responsibilities include unloading incoming shipments, stocking merchandise, accurately picking and packing orders, and preparing items for outbound transportation. You will be an integral part of our logistics network, contributing to timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. We emphasize a culture of safety and efficiency, providing all necessary training and ensuring the proper use of PPE. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory and materials.
- Sort and place inventory on shelves, racks, or bins according to location system.
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders with care to ensure product integrity and safe transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Commitment to adhering to safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
