- Safely operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models, to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to guarantee operational safety.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers with precision and care.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas, ensuring accurate placement.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as put-away and stock verification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations, company policies, and wear appropriate PPE.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse by performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable forklift operating experience. Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain one quickly. Solid understanding of warehouse logistics and safety protocols. Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and performing physically demanding tasks. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
