Our Atlanta, Georgia warehouse is seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our bustling Logistics department. In this role, you will be essential in moving materials throughout the warehouse, supporting both receiving and shipping operations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to designated areas, and ensuring materials are properly organized and stored. A strong focus on Safety is paramount, and you will be required to strictly adhere to all company guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This physically demanding position involves frequent Lifting of heavy items, and the ability to do so safely and efficiently is crucial. We are looking for a motivated individual with a good work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers
- Transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks or other equipment
- Stack and arrange materials in designated storage areas
- Assist with inventory counts and checks
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Follow all Safety regulations and wear required PPE
- Support shipping and receiving personnel as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including consistent Lifting
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices
- Team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to wear required PPE
