Our growing logistics operation in Raleigh, North Carolina is looking for a reliable Material Handler to support our warehouse activities. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the movement of goods within the facility. Your duties will include receiving incoming shipments, unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and preparing materials for outbound shipments. You will operate various material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move products efficiently and safely. Maintaining an organized and clean warehouse is a key part of this role, ensuring smooth operations and easy access to inventory. Safety is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including staging and loading.
- Conduct regular checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks.
- Perform duties involving significant lifting and material movement.
