Join our team as a Material Handler in Phoenix, Arizona! We are looking for reliable and safety-conscious individuals to manage the flow of materials within our warehouse. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing a wide range of products. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various material handling equipment. You will play an integral part in our logistics process, ensuring that materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there. A commitment to a safe work environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production facilities, or shipping platforms using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Accurately identify and count materials.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations.
- Prepare materials for shipment or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory management and stocktaking.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or in a similar logistics role is preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a significant advantage. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions. Safety is a top priority, and all candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety procedures.
