Our bustling warehouse in Boston, Massachusetts, is looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our expanding team. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our logistics hub. As a Warehouse Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You'll be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring that our stock levels are precise and up-to-date. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all warehouse safety protocols. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and possess the physical stamina to handle the demands of a warehouse environment, including consistent lifting. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Store merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and competently (training provided if needed).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping operations, including staging and loading trucks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and support overall logistics operations.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not mandatory for motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanners is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE correctly.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
