We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Associate to join our team in Detroit, Michigan! This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Contribute to team efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Comfortable with frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
