We are seeking motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This position is fundamental to our daily operations, involving the efficient handling, organization, and movement of goods within our distribution center. You will be an integral part of our logistics network, ensuring accuracy and speed in fulfilling orders and managing inventory. A focus on safety and a willingness to learn are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders according to company specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Strictly follow all company safety protocols, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Adhere to all guidelines for safe Lifting and material handling.
- Load outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
- Understand and execute various tasks within the warehouse logistics flow.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus. Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team is crucial. A strong commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory.
