We are seeking a dependable and efficient Material Handler to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, and distributing materials and products. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will be involved in moving, sorting, and staging various types of goods, ensuring they are handled properly and efficiently. Proper use of equipment and adherence to all safety protocols, including the wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting and material movement is essential for success in this position. Key duties:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Transporting materials to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Sorting and organizing materials for efficient access.
- Using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhering to all company safety regulations and procedures.
- Following instructions from supervisors regarding material handling and logistics tasks.
- Performing other warehouse duties as assigned to support the overall operation.
