We're hiring a Picker/Packer to join our busy fulfillment center in Detroit, Michigan! This role is a cornerstone of our e-commerce logistics, responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing scanning technology and other tools to fulfill orders quickly and accurately. We are committed to providing a safe and productive workplace, and adherence to our Safety protocols is paramount. The ideal candidate is organized, quick-thinking, and has the physical stamina required for the role. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details using scanning devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- May involve some Lifting and moving of boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Contribute to efficient Logistics operations by timely order processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards.
- Familiarity with Logistics and order fulfillment processes is beneficial.
