In this fast-paced role, your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from our warehouse shelves based on customer orders and then meticulously pack them for safe and timely delivery. You will utilize scanning technology and follow precise picking lists, ensuring that the right products reach our customers. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential. We emphasize a secure and healthy work environment, requiring all employees to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow all safety guidelines. This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as bend, stoop, and perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment setting is a significant plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick required items from warehouse inventory based on order tickets.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials and ensure items are securely packaged to prevent transit damage.
- Label packages correctly for shipment and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and wear mandatory PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and put-away tasks as needed.
- Communicate any order issues or discrepancies to a supervisor promptly.
