Are you a skilled Forklift Operator? We have an immediate opening for a certified Forklift Operator at our busy logistics facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse is paramount. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transferring materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with order picking and put-away processes. A current and valid forklift certification is required. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and all operators must strictly adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and potentially other gear depending on the task. Experience with various types of forklifts and warehouse management systems is highly desirable. This role demands attention to detail, excellent spatial awareness, and a strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and organize inventory in a secure and organized manner.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
The ideal candidate is a certified, experienced, and safety-conscious forklift operator. Physical requirements include sitting for extended periods, operating machinery, and occasional manual Lifting. This position is key to our overall logistics efficiency and warehouse operations.
