Job Summary:
Join our team in Madison, Wisconsin, as an Inventory Clerk and become an integral part of our supply chain operations. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for conducting regular inventory counts, reconciling stock discrepancies, investigating stock adjustments, and ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date and accurate. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and order picking teams to resolve any inventory-related issues. A meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of inventory control principles are crucial for success in this position. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to follow safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role is less physically demanding than some warehouse positions, there will be occasions requiring moderate Lifting and movement. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software is highly desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in logistics and inventory management. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Process stock adjustments, transfers, and returns.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate receiving and put-away of goods.
  • Generate inventory reports and analyze data for trends and improvements.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to minimize damage and loss.
  • Assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and has a knack for detail. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. This role is key to maintaining the efficiency of our entire operation.
