Our Fort Worth, Texas facility is looking for a diligent and organized Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring that stock levels are precise and readily available for order fulfillment. The Inventory Clerk will conduct regular audits, reconcile discrepancies, and assist in maintaining the overall organization of the warehouse. This is a key position in our logistics chain, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach. Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Receive, identify, and document incoming inventory.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse stockroom.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Ensure proper stock rotation (e.g., FIFO).
- Coordinate with other departments regarding inventory needs.
- Uphold high standards of warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as an inventory clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE .
- Understanding of inventory control principles within the logistics environment.
