This role involves significant standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs to move or consolidate items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory and ensure order accuracy.
- Verify quantities and product codes of picked items.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE at all times.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
- Meet established picking and packing performance standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Stamina for standing and walking for extended periods.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
