We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our busy warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in accurately fulfilling customer orders by retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for packing and shipping. Your responsibilities include using scanning devices to locate products, verifying item numbers and quantities, and transporting picked items to the designated staging areas. This position requires a keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy and minimize fulfillment errors. You will work in a fast-paced logistics environment, often requiring quick movement and efficient navigation of the warehouse. Teamwork and communication are key to achieving daily picking targets. Adherence to all safety procedures is paramount. You will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety shoes and gloves, and follow all guidelines related to safe material handling and lifting. The ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs is a standard requirement for this role.
