We are seeking motivated individuals to join our large-scale Distribution Center in Los Angeles, California, as Distribution Center Associates. This role is multifaceted, contributing to all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. You will be at the forefront of our logistics efforts, ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods through our facility. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to perform physically demanding tasks including significant Lifting, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Teamwork and communication are key to success. We provide comprehensive training on all equipment and processes, but prior experience is a definite advantage. Adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Perform all warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Operate various warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks – training provided).
- Ensure accuracy in all inventory transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed performance expectations and productivity goals.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives.
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to handle continuous Lifting and moving of products, up to 70 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and inventory control.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
