We are looking for a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our growing warehouse team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact our customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that the right products get to the right customers on time. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary training and PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Use scanning equipment to record picked items and update inventory levels.
- Pack picked items carefully into appropriate containers, ensuring they are secure for transit.
- Transport picked orders to the packing or shipping station.
- Verify order accuracy before submission for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to a supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE at all times.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds consistently.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
