We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associates to join our expanding team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our e-commerce operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped with efficiency and care. This position is crucial to our logistics and supply chain management, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Package items securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, applying appropriate labels and documentation.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counting procedures.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
