Become a vital part of our Distribution Center team in Atlanta, Georgia, as a Distribution Center Associate! This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our logistics network, involving a wide array of tasks to ensure products are managed effectively from receipt to dispatch. You will handle receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Stock inventory in appropriate warehouse locations using designated equipment.
- Accurately pick products from shelves based on order fulfillment requests.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following strict safety guidelines.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts to ensure data accuracy within the WMS.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular lifting, up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all assigned tasks.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overtime as needed.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
