We are looking for an efficient and dedicated Order Picker to join our logistics team in sunny Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed are critical in ensuring timely and correct shipments, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will work with advanced scanning technology and follow precise instructions to gather products, making this a dynamic and engaging position within our supply chain operations. This role requires physical activity and a commitment to Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product conditions.
- Ensure orders are picked in the most efficient manner.
- Stage completed orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and warehouse environment.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Adhere to strict PPE requirements at all times.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Proficient in using hand-held scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work independently.
- Understanding of general logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of Safety and using PPE correctly.
