Are you a team player with a strong work ethic? Our thriving logistics operation in Chicago, Illinois is looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate. In this role, you will be instrumental in the entire order fulfillment process, from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. You'll work collaboratively with a team to ensure orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately and efficiently. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment. Your contributions are vital to maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational excellence in the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Process orders using our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, including Safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and technology (e.g., scanners, WMS).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
