This vital role ensures that all incoming shipments are accurately documented, inspected for damage, and processed promptly. Your primary responsibility will be to verify received items against purchase orders and packing lists, identify discrepancies, and report any issues to management. This position is key to maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting the overall logistics operations. We prioritize safety above all else; you will be trained on proper material handling techniques and the correct use of required PPE. The job involves frequent lifting of boxes and materials, so a good level of physical fitness is necessary. You'll be working with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse. Responsibilities include:
- Unloading incoming freight from trucks.
- Scanning and logging all received items into the inventory system.
- Inspecting goods for damage or shortages.
- Communicating effectively with suppliers and internal departments regarding deliveries.
- Organizing received goods for further processing or put-away.
