This position is essential to our supply chain, requiring precision and speed in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, accurately picking them for orders, and securely packing them for shipment. The ideal candidate possesses excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality. Key responsibilities include:
- Reading order sheets and accurately identifying products to be picked.
- Using handheld scanners or other devices to track picked items.
- Collecting items from various locations within the warehouse.
- Verifying the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Packing items securely and appropriately for shipment, using designated materials.
- Ensuring packages are correctly labeled and staged for outbound transport.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals.
- Assisting with inventory management tasks as needed.
This role involves significant walking, standing, and reaching. The ability to lift and move packages of varying weights is necessary.
