Join our fast-paced logistics operations as a Distribution Center Associate in New York City, New York. This role is fundamental to our success, ensuring efficient handling and movement of goods. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. Key responsibilities include unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and accurately storing inventory. You will also be responsible for picking and packing customer orders with precision and care, preparing them for dispatch. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is paramount, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position demands physical stamina, as it involves frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and prolonged periods of standing and walking. A strong understanding of logistics principles and a commitment to operational excellence are highly valued. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can contribute to our team's productivity and uphold our high standards. Training on specific equipment and procedures will be provided.Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through careful handling and reporting.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily targets.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
- Ability to handle consistent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory management.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to use PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours if needed.
