Are you a skilled Material Handler with a passion for efficiency and safety? Our facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is looking for you! In this critical role, you'll be responsible for managing the flow of materials within our warehouse, ensuring that everything is in the right place at the right time. This includes receiving, stocking, transporting, and preparing materials for production or shipment. Your expertise in handling goods and operating equipment will be vital to our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials and products.
- Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for internal use or external shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent tracking.
- Conduct regular checks of equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient material flow and accessibility.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet operational demands.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Physical capability for significant lifting, up to 60 lbs.
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures and practices within a logistics environment.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
