Job Summary:
We are seeking a sharp and organized Inventory Control Specialist for our facility in Boise, Idaho. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and ensuring all inventory data is accurately recorded and updated in our system. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your contributions will directly impact operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring product availability. You will collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to implement best practices in inventory management. A commitment to workplace Safety is paramount; adherence to all PPE requirements and safety protocols is mandatory. This position involves tasks that may require moderate Lifting . Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and periodic physical inventories.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with receiving, put-away, and shipping teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare inventory reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear required PPE , including safety vests and gloves.
  • Perform tasks that may involve occasional Lifting of inventory items up to 40 pounds.
  • Support the efficiency and effectiveness of our Logistics operations.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software. Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics principles. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Capacity for occasional Lifting up to 40 pounds. Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE . High school diploma or GED required.
