We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our growing team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your primary function is to ensure that the correct products are picked, meet quality standards, and are prepared for the packing and shipping process. This is a crucial position within our logistics operations, requiring attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to accuracy. The ideal candidate is motivated, enjoys working in a dynamic warehouse environment, and understands the importance of precision in order fulfillment. You will work closely with a team to meet daily picking targets and contribute to the overall efficiency of our distribution center. We provide comprehensive training and emphasize a safe working environment, requiring strict adherence to all PPE guidelines and warehouse Safety protocols. This position involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, and performing moderate Lifting . Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations using pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Verify product identification and quantities against order details.
- Ensure picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during the picking process.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Be able to perform tasks involving regular Lifting of products up to 50 pounds.
- Support the efficient functioning of our Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred. Ability to read and interpret pick lists or scanner data. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods. Capable of Lifting up to 50 pounds. Familiarity with warehouse operations and Logistics . Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE . High school diploma or GED preferred. Team player with good communication skills.
