Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker in St. Louis, Missouri! We are looking for an efficient and accurate individual to fulfill customer orders by picking and preparing items for shipment. This role is critical in ensuring that our customers receive exactly what they ordered, on time. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specific items, and ensuring they are handled with care. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses strong attention to detail, and is committed to safety and productivity within our logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Operate order picking equipment, such as forklifts or order pickers, safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient picking.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Support the shipping department with order preparation.
- Be able to perform tasks involving lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and logistics goals.
