Seeking a highly efficient Order Picker for our busy warehouse in Chicago, Illinois. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating, retrieving, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role is integral to our order fulfillment process, demanding speed, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner data.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Assemble orders, ensuring items are properly packed for transit.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the picking areas.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with stock management.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
