Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting global networking operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Manage environmental ownership for perimeter network components, including B2B, internet DMZ, Cloud, and trading/market exchange connectivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for Global markets, Collaboration, Market Data, compute, Storage, Information Security, and Data Center projects.
Introduce, communicate, and develop strategic networking technologies to enhance scalability and functionality.
Lead the lifecycle of new technology implementations from introduction to decommissioning.
Engineer innovative solutions to meet internal business requirements and own the delivery of multiple concurrent projects of varying scale.
What's Needed?
Extensive experience in engineering and implementing networking technologies within large enterprise environments, preferably with exposure to the financial sector.
Deep knowledge of perimeter networks, external connectivity, security standards, cloud connectivity, and data center design principles.
Understanding of Network Security Architectures, models, authentication schemes, encryption techniques, and standards.
Hands-on experience with firewalls such as Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
Proficiency with WAN/LAN topologies, protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, PIM, MPLS), and network hardware including Cisco Routers, Switches, Nexus, and related products.
