As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are critical to our logistics success, ensuring our customers receive the correct orders promptly. This role involves navigating the warehouse, locating products, and carefully packaging them to prevent damage during transit. The job requires physical agility, comfort with lifting, and strict adherence to safety standards, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We seek individuals who are organized, reliable, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team. While prior experience in picking and packing is beneficial, we welcome candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. - Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Package items securely for shipping, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily quotas.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 35 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and PPE.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
