Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator? We are looking for a skilled professional to join our warehousing team in Boise, Idaho. As a Forklift Operator, you will be essential in moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory within our facility. Your proficiency in operating forklifts safely and efficiently will directly contribute to the smooth flow of our logistics operations. This role involves precise maneuvering of materials, ensuring proper stacking and storage to maximize space utilization and maintain inventory integrity. Safety is paramount; you will be required to operate machinery responsibly, adhere to all traffic rules within the warehouse, and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a keen understanding of warehouse safety protocols, and experience with various types of forklifts. While operating the forklift is the primary focus, you may also be involved in other warehouse duties, which could include lifting and general warehouse support. - Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to logistics.
- Participate in general warehouse duties as needed.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform lifting and other physical tasks when required.
- Familiarity with various types of forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.
