Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Unload materials from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Store inventory in designated warehouse locations, maintaining organization.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipments, including labeling and staging for carriers.
- Operate warehouse machinery like pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes, gloves, and safety glasses.
- Capacity for Lifting and moving products up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
