We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our facility in Dallas, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. Your duties will encompass performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing various machinery, and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. This position demands a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems commonly found in a warehouse setting. You will play a key part in minimizing downtime and maximizing the productivity of our logistics operations. Adherence to all safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. While physical demands exist, including occasional Lifting, the focus is on technical expertise and problem-solving. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a solid background in maintenance and a commitment to ensuring the smooth functioning of our entire warehouse ecosystem. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our distribution and logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Inspect equipment regularly for safety compliance and potential malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures to minimize operational disruptions.
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
- Follow proper Lifting techniques when moving parts or equipment.
- Support the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics through reliable equipment performance.
