We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods, ensuring accurate inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics and a commitment to operational excellence. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and storing items appropriately. Conversely, you will also prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct items are picked, packed, and labeled for dispatch. Attention to detail is paramount to prevent errors and maintain customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors. We prioritize a secure and compliant workplace, adhering to all relevant safety regulations. Regular use of required PPE will be a standard part of your daily routine. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and operating equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts (certification opportunities may be available).
