We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as a Picker/Packer! This dynamic role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for both picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include accurately locating and retrieving products, verifying order details, packing items securely and appropriately, and preparing shipments for dispatch. A strong commitment to safety is essential, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, reaching, and Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. You will work towards meeting team productivity and accuracy goals, contributing directly to our company's success. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and ensure they match order details.
- Pack orders securely using appropriate materials.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including affixing labels.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed.
- Perform Lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.
