In this position, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary duties will involve selecting items from inventory, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. We maintain a strong focus on safety; all employees must adhere to safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). This role demands physical activity, including frequent lifting, and requires precision to minimize errors. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock according to order lists or RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring appropriate materials are used.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, staging them in the correct areas.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
- Participate in inventory management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be capable of performing repetitive tasks and regular lifting. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good manual dexterity for packing. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of safety best practices and the proper use of PPE is required.
