We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in San Antonio, Texas. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage a team of warehouse associates, and ensure efficiency, productivity, and safety within the logistics facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management and logistics. You will be responsible for training, motivating, and evaluating staff, as well as implementing best practices for inventory control and workflow optimization. We are committed to your safety and ensure all team members are equipped with appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage, train, and mentor warehouse staff.
- Ensure all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock rotation.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Manage shipping and receiving operations.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to promoting a safe work environment and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team.
