Join our team in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Picker/Packer and play a vital role in our Logistics operations! We are searching for energetic and reliable individuals to accurately pick customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This position requires attention to detail to ensure that the correct items are selected and packed efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for reading order tickets, locating items within the warehouse, and using appropriate packing materials to ensure products are protected during transit. A commitment to Safety and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. This role involves a considerable amount of physical activity, including frequent Lifting of boxes and items of various weights. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets is essential. We are looking for team players who are dedicated to accuracy and efficiency in their work. You will contribute to the overall success of our warehouse by ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the Logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment
- Label packages correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and protocols
- Operate scanning equipment as needed
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus
- Ability to read and understand order tickets
- Capable of Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Willingness to wear required PPE
- Understanding of basic warehouse Safety principles
