Become a Picker/Packer in our Portland, Oregon warehouse! This role is the heart of our order fulfillment process, requiring speed, accuracy, and a commitment to quality. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating products within the warehouse, accurately assembling customer orders, and carefully packaging them for shipment. This position demands physical stamina and meticulous attention to detail to ensure that every order is correct and arrives in perfect condition. You will work as part of a team, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. A dedication to maintaining a safe work environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using order pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, and contribute to a culture of safety.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is beneficial. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods. Must be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs frequently. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
