Join our dynamic logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as an Order Picker! We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented individual to accurately select items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your role is crucial in ensuring that orders are processed correctly and promptly, contributing to the overall efficiency of our supply chain. You will work with a variety of products, using order lists or scanning technology to locate and retrieve items. This position requires a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Safety is paramount in our operations; therefore, adherence to all company Safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role involves physical tasks, including the Lifting of items up to 45 pounds and prolonged standing and walking. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Use handheld scanners or pick lists to verify items and quantities.
- Ensure picked items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Stage picked orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Report any discrepancies or stock issues to a supervisor.
- Follow all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and product labels.
- Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
