Job Summary:
Join our busy logistics hub in Baltimore, Maryland, as a Material Handler. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse facility. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods using forklifts and other equipment, stocking inventory, and assisting with order fulfillment. A rigorous commitment to safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a core requirement. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in material handling and a strong understanding of warehouse operations within the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
  • Stock and organize inventory accurately in warehouse locations.
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and staging for shipment.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.

This role requires a valid forklift certification and at least one year of experience as a material handler in a logistics or warehouse setting. The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods, is essential.
